Services

Small World Pediatrics is a comprehensive pediatric practice for newborns to young adults up to age 21 with hospital privileges at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Florida Hospital Tampa and newly opened, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel.  From birth until your kids are well into college, they will receive consistent care from a team of professionals that know your family and have easy and quick access to their electronic medical records.

Every day at Small World Pediatrics, we make ourselves available to meet your needs.  As a full-service medical practice we provide well care, sick visits, physicals (sports, school & camp), prenatal consultations and more. We are the place you want to be when you are searching for a Wesley Chapel Pediatrician.

WELL CARE:

From birth through adolescence, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended schedule for well child visits (newborn, 2 weeks, 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, & 18 months old) and annual physicals thereafter. This includes a complete physical exam, assessment of growth and development, and vaccinations.  We discuss topics such as good nutrition, fitness, healthy sleep habits, school progress, child safety and issues unique to each age group.  We also provide age appropriate vision and hearing screening and lab work.

SPORTS, SCHOOL & CAMP PHYSICALS:

At Small World Pediatrics, we provide your child a comprehensive physical exam for clearance to participate in sports, school and other activities. These exams are important not only to your child’s well being today, but for their future health and wellness. We take the time to discuss issues that will affect your child’s health now, and as they get older.

HOSPITAL NEWBORN VISITS:

After the birth of your baby, we will begin caring for him or her in the hospital to help ensure your baby has a healthy start in life.  Your baby’s new doctor will be there each day during your hospital stay to examine and monitor your newborn’s health, then help arrange a follow-up visit in our office a few short days following your hospital stay. As the parent of a newborn, we know you will have many questions.  We are here to answer these questions.  We welcome the opportunity to assist you with this very exciting and challenging time in your life.
